What is a facial?
A facial is one of the best ways to take care of your skin – the largest organ of your body – especially when it’s given by an experienced, knowledgeable esthetician.
A facial cleanses, exfoliates and nourishes the skin, promoting a clear, well-hydrated complexion, and can help your skin look younger.
When do I need one?
Getting a facial is not only relaxing and rejuvinating to the face, but also the mind. Facials allow you to focus on your breathing and regain your confidence in having healthy beautiful skin.
Ideally, get a facial monthly because that’s how long it takes the skin to regenerate. Try to have a facial at least four times a year, as the season changes.
Increase Circulation
Facials help to renew skin cells by circulating the blood flow under the skin, which then can decrease puffiness and fluid build up that comes from our lymphatic system. Good circulation is important in that it brings oxygen, proteins and nutrition to the skin, while ridding our skin of toxins.
